What We're Reading

New feature: Categories

We're happy to announce today that, in addition to being able to color-code events, you can now assign events to specific named categories, each of which have their own color. This was a much-requested feature, and hopefully allows users to better visualize their data.

Enjoy.

New feature: Sharing timelines from TimelineIt

It's been a busy couple of days. Yesterday we finished adding support for color-coded events to TimelineIt, and today we are happy to introduce the ability to share your timelines with anyone on the web. Just click the 'Share This Timeline' link in the sidebar to get a secure URL that you can pass around to whoever needs access to your timeline. And if you want to make your timeline private again, just click on 'Unshare This Timeline' to once again limit access to just your account.

Enjoy!

Visual Design Overhaul

Both blackletterllc.com and timelineit.com underwent a design overhaul this weekend. The new design uses what we feel are easier to read fonts on less complicated backgrounds. Overall, we went for a very minimal and functional approach. Comments are, as always, welcome.

TimelineIt Launches

TimelineIt launched about two weeks ago. We've already received a positive mention on the Mac Law Students blog and a favorable, if not entirely positive, review from a Fellow at the Emory Center for Interactive Teaching. Always happy to receive positive feedback, and we're currently working on implementing some of the features he requested, such as categories and page sharing.

Development of Caseload (our web-based case management application) is started to really heat up. Stayed tuned for more information. Read More...
